Vacations always make my so excited because that means we get to check out a new cafe every single day! It’s so much fun and I get all hyped up before the trip with all my coffee research.
Lucky for me Atticus was on my list as well as a highly recommended coffee shop by my cousin! Double win.
Atticus coffee is located right in the downtown drive of Park City, very conveniently located to our Aribnb rental as well. I was really looking forward to checking this cafe out as it was part of the cafe, part book store! Worried about how much time im about to kill in this cafe. Walking in, you can tell immediately this is a hot place to be for coffee in the morning. There was a bit of a line s w quickly jumped in that knowing we would have time while waiting or breakfast and coffee to explore the shop more. Atticus also specializes in quick easy to go breakfast bites along with smoothies, tea and coffee beverages. Basically trying to cater to all clients, perfect for their location at the base of all the mountains and right in the heart of main street Park City.
Danny went with the breakfast burrito and cappuccino, I picked the Pooh Bear latte, sweetened with locally sourced honey and oatmeal. While waiting for our food and drink we wondered the few rows of books and traveler nick nacks! Yes I could very easily kill a whole entire afternoon here just wandering the shelves and reading all the books! It was awesome and so many interesting random finds. They also had a whole section dedicated to a bunch of Harry Potter stuff! Score!
I actually ended up getting a book that was a bunch of campfire stories about a few of the countries National Parks! How random and cool though! There is literally no where else you could find a book like this so I felt I had to jump on it.
Food and drink ready, Danny really enjoyed his burrito, granted those are hard to mess up, my oatmeal was a little underpar. I think I was expecting more, but also found I might not actually be the biggest fan of chia flavor anymore. That was the flavor of this oatmeal. But both of us were obsessed with our drinks and found them to be perfect! So I will not complain, it was actually the best latte I have had in a long time. I think I kept finding a way to talk about it the rest of the morning! Opps, obsessed.
We actually again later in our trip came back here to get more coffee cause we found this place to be too perfect! If ever in the Park City area I cannot recommend an Atticus coffee shop visit enough.
